Theatre education teaches students how to think creatively, problem solve, and work collaboratively. It also helps to hone communication and presentation skills. Through theatre education, students can gain an appreciation for the performing arts, express their creativity, and build self-confidence. It can also provide a safe space to expess ourselves and to learn valuable lessons about life.
My Girl Scout troop had a private, 90-minute session with Porch Light and it was great! Incredibly flexible and easy to work with. We were not easy to schedule but PL worked with us via email and phone calls. Just the amount of legwork to get the program together deserved 5 stars. But once we got there, it went to another level. My girls came out of their shells and just had fun for 90 minutes while trying something new.
