What If the Fairy Tale Was Only the Beginning? Step into the woods where stories collide, wishes get complicated, and nothing goes quite as expected. In this reimagined take on Sondheim’s Into the Woods Jr., Grades 6–12 performers will dig deeper into classic characters — from Cinderella to the Witch — and ask: What happens after happily ever after? With rich music, layered characters, and an ensemble-focused script, this production offers a fantastic opportunity to explore storytelling with depth and nuance. Guided by our creative team, students will tackle challenging material with humor, heart, and their own imaginative twist. A smart, witty, and emotionally rich reimagining of the stories we think we know.
The Academy Program for grades 6-12 focuses on building characters through immersive performing arts training, guiding young performers on journeys of self-discovery and transformation. Through comprehensive rehearsals and workshops, students develop their acting, singing, and dancing skills while exploring complex narratives and diverse characters. The program culminates in fully-staged productions, showcasing the artistic growth and dynamic talents of our participants as they bring powerful stories to life.
