As Academy Jr. students bring this beloved musical to life, they will build skills in acting, singing, dancing, and teamwork while exploring themes of self-confidence, empathy, perseverance, and looking beyond first impressions. Through the rehearsal and performance process, students will discover that true character comes from embracing who you are and recognizing the value in others—an important lesson both on stage and in everyday life.
