Return to the magical land of Oz in Oz: The Forgotten, an original musical adventure that blends beloved characters and familiar stories with an exciting new chapter never before seen on stage. As Academy Jr. students reunite with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodsman, the Lion, and other unforgettable friends, they’ll also help bring brand-new characters and original storytelling to life. Through themes of friendship, individuality, balance, creativity, and holding onto wonder as we grow, students will strengthen their skills in acting, singing, and performance while exploring what makes each person unique. At Porch Light, Oz: The Forgotten offers the best of both worlds—a fresh theatrical experience rooted in the timeless magic of Oz, where young performers can help create something truly special while building confidence, character, and imagination.
About Academy Mini
Welcome to Academy Mini, where young performers embark on enchanting journeys with The Little Mermaid Jr., Frozen Jr., and Aladdin Jr.! In this exciting program, students learn foundational skills in acting, singing, and dancing while bringing these beloved tales to life. Through creative play and interactive exercises, they explore themes of adventure and transformation, building confidence and imagination in a nurturing setting. The program culminates in fully-staged final performances on the final weekend, where our Minis team up with our Academy Jr's to delight audiences, showcasing their artistic growth and the magic of character development through theatre.
