About Academy Summer Musical
Join our Academy students this summer for the hilarious musical comedy, Once Upon a Mattress! Based on the classic fairy tale The Princess and the Pea, this charming and laugh-out-loud production follows the spirited Princess Winnifred as she takes on a series of outrageous challenges to win the heart of a prince—and prove that being yourself is the greatest royal quality of all. Filled with unforgettable characters, catchy songs, and plenty of fun, this family-friendly musical is a fairy tale unlike any other!
About Academy Summer
Designed for middle and high school students, our Academy program offers students the opportunity to improve performance skills while working on exciting contemporary projects. Working closely with arts educators, students receive training in acting, singing and movement/dance in preparation for their final performance. Each season includes a fall, winter, spring & summer production!
